5994_MUZZYMAN
A friend of mine just went from pins to a pendelum sight and is unsure about it. I shoot a pendelum and love it. any advice you might want to give him please feel free to i've already given my 2-cents and he didn't want to by it. BTW it is a cobra sight. he thinks he will do better with pins but 99.9% of his hunting is from a tree stand.
buckee
Re: pendelum vs. pin sights I've been shooting a Savage Pendulum sight for a few years now and love mine. I have the Nighthawk one-pin, a tritium pin, that actually glows in the dark. I don't lose any legal shooting time with this puppy. And I have a second pin called the Duelly pin, that sit just in front of it, for my 30 yard pin when I'm hunting from the ground. I have my Main Pin set at 20 yrds, which makes it good from 0 to 30 in the tree-stand. On the ground, my main pin is good from 0 to 20, and my second pin is set for 30 yrds' I'm happy with my set-up. I'm rigging up another bow this year with a regular 5-pin, Tru-Glo sight, that also will have 2 tritium pins. but I'm not getting rid of my Pendulum.
