wtnhunt
Kind of wondering if the deer smell the new camera and are avoiding it, it was setup on a pretty well used trail here. Oh well, I moved it, so far have only gotten pics of raccoons, but at least I know the cam is working and taking good pics.

wtnhunt
Re: Couple pics from the homebrew [ QUOTE ] Those are very good pictures. Was the homebrew hard to make? What did it cost you? [/ QUOTE ] With some help from Bond was really pretty simple. Have just under $150 into the camera and the pixcontroller kit, did have to buy a clear glue/sealant for the glass and lenses was around $3, had everything else I needed already. Had a 32 mb memory stick with the camera I bought off of e-bay. Really didnt take much time to make it either. Bought another memory stick this past week for $35 from wal mart, so have 2 memory cards and around $185 in it total. [ QUOTE ] Nice pics. What camera did you use with your homebrew? [/ QUOTE ] It is a sony p32. The camera is in a food plot now, should at least get some turkey pics this next time around.
Huntr104
Re: Couple pics from the homebrew Very nice. That's what I just built too. I'm waiting for my first pics. I'll have them posted by next weekend. What camera are you going to build next. I like to go with the Sony S600, S40 or do an IR unit. Guest BJDeerHunter
Re: Couple pics from the homebrew Very cool, I might have to look into building one myself as I cannot afford the $300-$400 most digital ones are now.

I did my cam in a 1040 case and fit perfectly. I still had to dremel the sides of the case to get the cam in.

Sure, it'll fit but it's really tight in there. I like to use 1040 cases so they can go vertical on the tree. And you have some room to work with. Great pics by the way. No deer, left the camera a couple more days there and filled the card with nothing but coons so had to move it. Hopefully will have some deer and or turkey pics from it when I check it later on today.
