Swamphunter
Am looking to find a new load for my TC .54 cal Blackhawk inline. Just curious what you all shoot?
AJ
Re: New load Sorry Bud, I don't have a .54 cal. What have you been shooting? What are you trying to accomplish? Long range load, more accuracy, increased velocity, sabots, full diameter, or what?
Swamphunter
Re: New load I want to get more accuracy. I have been using Powerbelts, but they don't group as good through my gun as I thought they would. I was tired last night when I wrote Blackhawk..it is a Thunderhawk. Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: New load Shoot a bore sized bullet that should tighten up your shots. Less to screw up. Some custom made bullets might be in order as well. Have you really taken the time to work up a load for the bullet you are shooting? That is starting at one charge and moving up or down in 5 gr increments? It may take some powder and bullets but if accuracy is what you want, this is what you may have to do.
