It's hard to tell from the picture, but I would say he is about 4.5yrs based on the conformation of his brisket and the prominant belly. I dont think he is a 2 1/2 year old but I would guess him as a 4 1/2 just because his rack is so wide and he has a saging belly and his back is starting to sag a little as well. and I dont think anything younger than 4 1/2 would grow a rack of that size, but im not to good at ageing. -shane Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately it is still hard to tell and you can't judge age by antler size. I have seen some bucks with antlers that size that were 2.5 and 3.5 but it is'nt very often.
