IL buck pics

Here's three pics from the same deer. He's a nice solid 8 that we're thinking is a 3.5-4.5 yr old. The first two are from the first week in August and the last is from a week and a half later. They're from an older 35mm trail cam we've got. My brother's exchanging his Stealth Cam for a Cuddeback and then we'll be in the 21st century. cool.gif

It's like he posing in the first pic. grin.gif

Re: IL buck pics

Really nice buck there. From the first and last pics, looks like he is a 4.5 year old, but looking at that second pic, looks like maybe only a 3.5 year old.

You certain the deer in the second pic is the same deer? Just looks bit lighter in the neck and body to me for some reason.

We're not certain at all. It was an initial guess on our part. But after looking more closely, I do see a slight difference in the two in the body. The racks are nearly identical making it very tough to discern between two different deer, if it is in fact two different deer. Either way, we've got at least one good deer in our area. grin.gif

Really not so sure there either. What are the time frames between the pics. The first and third buck look to me to be just a bit taller in the antlers. May just be me or the way I am looking at the pics, but I dont think from your pics that they are the same deer.

There is about two weeks between the first and the last. The first two were just a few days apart.
