GWSmith
Re: Arrow Fletcher When I started fletching my own I shopped Ebay and found the best price on a Grayling.
LifeNRA
Re: Arrow Fletcher I asked the same thing here last year, got alot of answers too! I got the Bitzenburger jig. I doubt I will ever buy another one! Self standing, all metal construction, and simple! Yeah, the Bitz cost more, but it will last a lifetime! 257bob
Re: Arrow Fletcher I posted this question about a month ago. After quite a few posts I was not convinced that the Bitzenburger had anything to offer that the Grayling could not do. I bought the Grayling a week ago and it is easy to use and half the price of the Bitz. They are the EXACT same thing only different materials. You can use Bitz clamps on Grayling jig and so on. Get what ever you want, but I'm telling you know one on here could tell me what made the Bitz better than the Grayling (other than weight). I believe more people use a Bitz then anything else. I was at a pro shop right before I bought my jig. Well, I seen a round table with about 24 Bitz's attached to the round table. I asked the guy you really must like that jig? All he said was, "Its the best". Buy what you can afford! After all thats the name of the game! If your happy with it, Great! If not, you'll buy something else sooner or later!

257bob
Re: Arrow Fletcher NRA, other than the weight of the jig, tell me the difference. What can you do with your Bitz that I can't do with my Grayling. I know two people that work in pro shops that use the Bitz in the shop but have the plastic Grayling or BPE at home for their own personal use. Again I am not saying the Bitz is a bad jig, but the others do the same exact thing.
Bownarow
Re: Arrow Fletcher IMO, The Bitzenburger is the absoulte best fletcher on the market. It is easy to use and very well built. I use mine with all different types and sizes of arrows.

Like I said, if your happy with your jig, great! I am more than happy with my Bitz! Wont own nothing else! Done about 12 dozen arrows so far and just love it! I looked at all the different jigs and just felt the Bitz was the best built one! Now that's just my own personal feelings! Hey man, its about getting what YOU WANT! Let grub decide now what jig to buy. I personally don't care what people get, unless they start spending my MONEY!!!
