PAbowhunter86
Since I am new to the muzzy family I would like to see some muzzy moments that you all have enjoyed through out the years? Once this archery season is over I hope to have a Muzzy moment to share also. Thanks PA
wtnhunt
Re: Muzzy Moments? Killed my first archery deer with a muzzy 3 blade 100 grain head, a good mature doe on an afternoon hunt. Unfortunately when I found her the next day, the coyotes had beat me to her.

CamoGuy
Re: Muzzy Moments? I will try to make this short. One year I shot a doe. Bad shot, hit her in the shoulder blade. My father-in-law and I searched for 2 days and couldn't find her. I had to assume she survived or at least made it so far that I would never find her. The next summer I watched a video by Dan Fitzgerald and he showed scenes of him shooting a cinderblock and a steel 55 gallon drum with Muzzy's and they held together. He pointed out how well the Muzzy's penetrated thru the steel drum and still held up even tho the arrow was trashed. I was sold. I went out and bought some 3-blade 125's. The next year I had the exact same thing happen but with a 2 year old buck. Hit him right in the shoulder blade. He ran 35 yards and piled up. The arrow had penetrated the shoulderblade, double lunged him and the broadhead was stuck in the opposite shoulderblade. That was over 10 years ago and I haven't used another broadhead since and I probably never will.
whttlbucksteve
Re: Muzzy Moments? I shot a 175" buck and doe last year shot the doe quatering away and the arrow went clean through the opposite shoulder
Straight Shooter
Re: Muzzy Moments? Man, I could fill this post up with several Muzzy moments. I've taken my P&Y with a 75 grain Muzzy, blasted through both shoulders on deer, hammered an armadillo in Alabama, coconut shots on groundhogs on video with Muzzy's. I've been shooting them for 14 years now and nothing will ever take the place of them. I do shoot other heads from time to time but nothing else goes into the woods with me on deer hunts. bigbuckkilla89
Re: Muzzy Moments? I shot my first deer last year with a bow. A nice mature doe, and i was hunting on the ground so it was even more heart racing i had 4 deer around me when i shot her. I was using muzzy 3 blade 125 grain. When I shot her my arrow went all the way through. She only ran about 15 yards and fell , that muzzy really did a job on her. Im gonna be using them again this year also. live life hunt hard David IL
Chrud
Re: Muzzy Moments? I was shooting a Muzzy 100 4-blade for both my whitetail bow kills. Both deer fell within 75 yards.

magnatecsteve
Re: Muzzy Moments? Have had SEVERAL moments..the best was a buck that came in at 20 yards, slightly angled towards...When I shot, he turned and dropped some. My Muzzy hit the shoulder blade, weht through the chest, out the armpit, through the opposite leg....Muzzy's have some awesome penetration!! Ohiobucks
Re: Muzzy Moments? One of the few does I shot last year using Muzzy 4 blade 100's. This one fell on opening day afternoon.
hoosierhunter
Re: Muzzy Moments? mine isn't a deer kill though I have had 3 bowkills with them. Mine is when I decided to see how tough a muzzy was after one of the kills so I set up a concrete block and shot into it at 10 yards....It penetrated the block half the boradhead and didn't break it!!!! Now that's some tough construction if you ask me...The blades and point we still intact afterwards......
