bigbuckkilla89
I was thinking about getting a whisker biscuit rest put on my bow. Then after lookin at it, it looked to me like it would tear my fletching off my arrow. Does anyone have a whisker biscuit on their bow? And how good does it work? jbeck
Re: Whisker Biscuit I have it, I like it, and I've never had a vane torn off from that. I do Know with feathers, they will lay them down if there wet. Good luck
mo_hunter
Re: Whisker Biscuit They work fine as long as your fletch has a drop or two of glue on the leading edge of the van or feather. I always fletch my arrows that way anyway. 2 inch Blazers are a great vane with a whisker biscuit.
Guest Storm25m
Re: Whisker Biscuit I had a problem with the leading edge of the fletching coming up after a while. As mentioned, a drop or two of glue on the leading edge of the fletch will prevent this. I was also having some sort of contact issue. My fletchings would get black streaks on them. I used the biscuit for about 4 years, but I changed to a containment drop away this year. I should mention that I used the original (no quick shot) and the original quick shot models. I never owned the new quick shot version with the brown/black bristles. Maybe that was supposed to fix fletch wear issues. I liked the rest, but I felt it was time for a change. Switchback29A1
Re: Whisker Biscuit Had mine for 3 years and love it. Sometime I don't even have to put glue on them. Very happy with mine.
Guest Danbo
Re: Whisker Biscuit It will wear you flecthing a little bit if you shoot a lot of 4" fletchings. Use the 2" Blazers. You can also trim the WB a little bit so that you do not see any bristles when viewed sideways. This rest noise free, and great for stalking. You can also wipe you vanes with some teflon oil to gain a few FPS, BUT if you hunt in cold weather, it will have the opposite effect. LifeNRA
Re: Whisker Biscuit [ QUOTE ] No problems here what-so-ever. Will never use anything but a WB [/ QUOTE ] I say the same thing! But I will say, the best vanes so far are the Bohning Killer and Blazer vanes, and the AAE SpeedFlyte vanes!

Doc
Re: Whisker Biscuit Did they explain what cut his string and how? I'm trying to picture how any arrow rest could cut string. Or is the store owner saying that the turbo nocks cut the string? I'm confused. Doc
