wtnhunt
Planted or I should say broadcast the first of two planned winter plots Saturday afternoon, with rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday. This is the plot I had posted pics of last week where I had cleared and was getting ready to plant. Ended up not getting a drop of rain Saturday here and was a bit concerned because I did not cover the seed, but got some good soft rain then into a heavy downpour Sunday late, then got some rain again this morning. Went back today and checked this winter blend from hamann farms and got tiny sprouts coming up everywhere. Cannot believe how fast this stuff germinated, it just got rained on 2 days ago planted 3 days ago, and have sprouts up already. Will post some pics soon. Guest pabowhunt
Re: fast germination-WOW It's interesting you said that. I planted a brassica, rye and clover mix Monday night. It rained that night and most on Tuesday. I was conserened it rained to hard so I checked on it as soon as I got home from work. I can some of the seeds have already popped! It is surprising how fast they germinate!!!
