Padding everywhere and you get a super safe feeling with it because you have padded arm rest that conform to the natural slant of your arm. I wouldn't trade mine for the world. sskybnd Posted August 31, 2006 Report Share Posted August 31, 2006 Re: climbing stand. equalize, its also light weight, and it has a virtue must stands dont, you never have to sit unlevel , most stands as you climb tend to start to lean down, the equlizer will adjust up to 12 inches which will keep you level. Summit...been using mine for 7 years, absoultely love it, i still have the origional inflateable seat in it. Great stand!!!!!!!! [/ QUOTE ] I bought the Goliath X5 last year, awesome stand! Holds up to 350 pounds, and no moving parts to make noise. But the big reason for me was the top section was wider than the Viper. The Viper and Goliath are the same stand, just the Goliath is wider and I like the room! I didnt need the 350 pound stand being only 190. I just wanted the larger top section! BTW!
