Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: Champion mustang I've shot and owned some Champions before but not the Mustang. I think my guide owns a Diablo. Since they are out of business and there is no warranty and there is no guarantee that the limbs are crack free, unfortunately Champions are worth nothing more than that of their parts value. Don't get me wrong, they were great bows and there are many still in great shape that deserve to be ranked in the top 20 bows ever produced but without a warranty parts they are. Anyone owning a Champion that has gone to a archery shop in the last 3 years knows what they have and IMO paying anything more than $50 may be a raw deal. Same goes for selling. If you have one and want to get rid of it. sell it for parts or give it to a prospective new guy/girl who wants to get into archery.
VtBowhunter
Re: Champion mustang I owned the Champion Mustang when it first came out and killed deer with it. I sold it to a forum member here and he's still shooting it as far as I know. I sold it in favor of another Champion Bow. My father still has his and he's killed numerous deer with his and a Caribou. They are an excellent bow, just make sure if you're looking at one that it's in good shape and you have a way of getting the parts to it as Champion went out of business a couple seasons ago. GWSmith
Re: Champion mustang That would'nt be Dave would it Josh??? That guy Loves that bow and yes he is still shooting it!!! He shot the local 3-D course with me using that bow 2 weekends ago! I think he has the Mustang and the Sabre...both dialed in tight too He killed a couple deer with them last year You wont see him abusing them though because he knows how hard it would be to replace the parts

Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: Champion mustang If memory serves me correctly, 318 FPS. I'm not sure though. Are you buying one or selling one? Curiosity is killing me. If the riser does not have ISO bar holes drilled in it then it was a riser manufactured prior to 2003 yet it could be a 2003 bow. From what I understand that is.
