Giving ROSS a try...

Got back from the pro shop a couple of hours ago to pick up my new bow..ROSS CR337. This bow is super nice..slender grip, NO hand shock at all on release..the bow just sits there, at 67# draw shoots 285fps, the draw is real smooth even at 67#, Winners Choice string.....I love Hoyt bows too, but DANG this thing shoots!!.. Already got the pins set at 20,30,40 and it's just laying them in there!! Too bad it's dark already frown.gif I was having too much fun!! Only thing, I'm going to get a string dampener to quiet the string noise, but it still isn't bad at all!!

Re: Giving ROSS a try...

Yeah, that's the one I'm looking at getting.... Man I love that bow...shooting softball sized groups at 60 yards tonight!! VERY smooth shooting bow, I think the new Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter deserves some credit too. I even re-fletched all of my arrows since I have absolutely NO clearance issues now..unlike with the NAP Quicktune 4000 I had..I'm sold on the Trophy Taker!! wink.gif

Re: Giving ROSS a try...

E-mail the administrator of RT forums and it'll get done. About the ROSS bow, is it a 337 or 334? My neighbor just got one about three weeks ago and it's one cool machine. I've shot it several times and if I didn't all ready have three bows. I'd own two of those. His is the 334, very smooth, very forgiviing, and very quiet, the customers service is outstanding as well. This is one bow that's going to make a big impact on the Mathews/Bowtec sells, just give it another year or two and see.
