Had a bad experience with mech. or just don't like change? I use to feel the same way because I didn't care for the blades folding backwards to open. The Rocky Mt. Snypers and Rage heads are different...they go through the barrel of the head and push open..they don't fold open. Check 'em out! I've shot several deer with the Rocky Mt. Snypers and had great luck with them. The Rage heads are basically the same thing except how the blades are held in place. I too bought some Rage heads (2 blades) for this season. The only thing I don't like about them is I only have a 26" draw length shooting 70 Lbs. I don't build enough kenetic energy to do a complete pass through on any shot over 20 yards. I've taken close to 40 deer with fixed heads, and haven't had a problem with them either. Good luck in whatever you choose. Just remember to pick that spot and make it disapear. Rage bh and another mech. bh, 2 one gallon milk jugs filled w/ water and food coloring. one jug was shot w/ the other mech b/h and started draining the water. Jay then waited 10 seconds then shot the second jug w/ the rage 2 blade b/h. the rage emptied the jug b4 the other jug was emptied even w/ the 10 second head start.
