Guest mweingartz Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 I took my 2 daughters in the woods the other day and I thought I would share the adventure with you. Now being being blessed with daughters and not sons I am thrilled to death when they take any interest in the woods and hunting. Currently they are 3 and 2, probably a bit to soon to be taking them in the woods but I dont had to. Anyways we walked into some pretty thick woods, and after a short time we came across a yearling doe. When it spooked it made a loop and ran straight at us. Scared my girls to death, lots of crying and screaming, and made me roll with laughter. After the deer was out of sight my oldest daughter put her hand on her hip and with a huge attitude said "Dad you were supose to shoot the deer". Like I said in the title Never been more Proud!!!! Since we had the little one with us we were driving and glassing out of the truck. A good mulie buck was coming off a point, and I was considering getting out and stalking after he went out of sight.
