RangerClay
I always wondered where the name for the ML Room came from. Then I read Snappers post in Ruth's thread about Bluelk. For those of us who did not know. Let's imagine we are at hunting camp and we are telling stories by the campfire. Who was Bluelk and how did the room get his name? Guest Tech29OhYeah
Re: How did the muzzleloader room get it\'s name He was a Mod and a long time contributor to the forums. He knew LOTS about ml'ers. When he died of cancer, they changed the name as a tribute to the man.

Hoosierbuck
Re: How did the muzzleloader room get it\'s name Rich Dunkirk was a good dude. I knew of him on another board. He worked as a sporting goods distributor and knew muzzleloaders very well. Does anybody remember his epic mule trip after he reitred? He and a buddy traveled for weeks and weeks, old-school mule style from somewhere out west-maybe Colorado?- all the way up the Rockies to Canada or something crazy like that. Does anybody remember the specifics?? His chapters on muzzleloading grace several boards and have given a leg up to lots of aspiring front-stuffers. buckee
Re: How did the muzzleloader room get it\'s name Rich was not only a great asset to this forum, from the beginning, but he was also a real rugged, tough rancher/mountainman sort of character. I only wish I'd gotten to know him better. Here are a couple of feature articals on Rich (buelk), so you can get to know him better. It was a pleasure to meet him in Tennessee, before he passed away. He was a great guy and really knew his stuff. For what its worth is was to ml'ers what AJ is to modern weapons. I wish so bad I could have made that hunt to meet everyone including Rich.
