Sure wish they would open a fall season for turkeys in this county. The longbeard that busted me back in the spring at about 35 yards as I was about to turn on him or one just about like him has been hanging around the backyard this summer. Got tons of pics of him and a couple other birds.

I'm excited to go. Starts October 7 in my zone this year, and I'm pumped. Most fall birds taken in my area are by deer hunters waiting in the trees. Alot of folks here don't hunt 'em with a bow, specifically. I've been practicing hard the past couple months, shooting at 3 different Featherflex decoys, (yes, you read it right), at 3 different ranges: 10, 20, & 30 yards. Of course, the decoys weren't moving..... lol!
