Squirrelhunter91
Re: Hunting Fall gobblers Yea... I am thinking about giving it a try... The plus to it is you get to shoot first when your hunting with gun hunters. If you miss, they back you up with the shotguns.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Hunting Fall gobblers I plan on it seeing that bowhunting for deer and turkeys season runs together, figure I am up in that tree, why not try to take one. Going to take a mouth call with me and if I see a Tom I'm going to try and score on one! Got my fall turkey tag and I am ready!

wtnhunt
Re: Hunting Fall gobblers Sure wish they would open a fall season for turkeys in this county. The longbeard that busted me back in the spring at about 35 yards as I was about to turn on him or one just about like him has been hanging around the backyard this summer. Got tons of pics of him and a couple other birds.

Guest Blaine_Cardilli
Re: Hunting Fall gobblers I'm excited to go. Starts October 7 in my zone this year, and I'm pumped. Most fall birds taken in my area are by deer hunters waiting in the trees. Alot of folks here don't hunt 'em with a bow, specifically. I've been practicing hard the past couple months, shooting at 3 different Featherflex decoys, (yes, you read it right), at 3 different ranges: 10, 20, & 30 yards. Of course, the decoys weren't moving..... lol!
