Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: OSU v. Texas i just watched the first half....and part of the 3rd quarter, but from what i saw, the offense for Ohio state, played pretty much like everyone expected, the defense i wasn't to impressed with, they may not have let Texas put the ball in the end zone, but i think if the defense plays like that against a more experienced QB they will have a tough time. stat wise the longhorns were right there with the buckeyes as far as total yards...and they held ohio state to 79 yards on the ground...they just focused to much on Ginn and got killed by Gonzolez lol
tp793
Re: OSU v. Texas I agree with PAbowhunter, i think the refs gave a great effort to keep OSU out of the game, but just couldnt stop them. It's pretty hard to believe that ohio state had 9 or 10 flags compared to texas' 2 or 3? All in all good game for the buckeyes!!
Ohiobucks
Re: OSU v. Texas The Bucks definitely looked tough, but they have got to finish tackles on defense. One hitters don't work on big time college running backs. Hit and wrap. There were so many missed tackles, not just against Texas, but last week as well. No problems on offense, Troy Smith is a force in the passing game. Ginn and Gonzalez are great targets for him. I agree with Todd, the score could have been a little more lopsided without those dropped balls. I will say one thing, Colt McCoy will be a great QB for Texas in the next few years. Get that guy some experience in big games, and it will only make him stronger. He looked good at times, great on others, than would make some rookie mistakes. All in all, he is going to be a great one IMO. The Bucks are in control, wire to wire National Champs!
