First time using a digital game cam. Checked it today after it had been out for a week. It had 246 pictures on it.

Come to find out.........it was taking pictures that look like 5 or 6 seconds apart. But I had set the delay for 1 minute. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?? confused.gif

Ton of does and one 4 point. Nothing spectacular. But the camera takes great pictures. smile.gif

ok it has a opion to take 1 2 or 3 pics in a sequence. i have a moultry and i set the delay for 5 min with 3 shots in a sequence i also put a memory card in it and set the photo quality to enhanced or high. you might try that and see if it helps

Re: What setting??

Personally Andrea, I like getting lots of pics, just because you dont ever know what might come along or how long that animal might be there. Example, I have our leaf river set to quick shot to take 2 pics after the trigger. I have gotten pics of bucks in the second frame that were there for just a short time, I would have otherwise gotten. So long as you are not paying for film and developing the only downside is filtering through the pics to find the ones worth looking at.

Re: What setting??

I don't mind looking at all the pictures. But I bet that I had it set on the thing that takes the 3 pics in sequence.

I have it set on a 1 minute delay. Is that too short?

No, I set mine to 10 seconds. I don't see any reason why you would want deer to walk by the camera and not get their picture taken unless you're paying to develop film or are leaving your cam out for an extended period of time.
