hutchies
Just wanted to remind you guys to be sure and spin test your broadheads. It will save you alot of headaches when trying to get those broadheads shooting good groups. Here is the model I use. http://www.hunting-fishing-camping.com/cabelas-products/Archery/Pine-Ridge-Arrow-Inspector.html

archerjg
Re: Spin testing............. I spin test and match all of my broadheads to my arrows before shooting and that is where they stay until the arrow is destroyed. Thanks for the reminder. Rayzorp
Re: Spin testing............. I was thinking of investing in one of these, pardon my stupidity, but how does it work? As you can tell I've pretty much been operating a la seat of my pants... Thanks Ray
hutchies
Re: Spin testing............. You lay the arrow on the rollers and give it a spin. What you are looking for is a true spin at the tip of the broadhead. If it wobbles you need to pull the broadhead and try it on a different arrow til you find one that does not wobble. hutchies
Re: Spin testing............. Imagine trying to fly a plane straight into a target that the nose is wobbling around. That will give you an idea of what the broadhead is doing when it is not straight. Or trying to drill a hole with a bent bit.
