Guest Bushpilot
I got a good heads up in my other post about there possibly being a trigger adjustment for my CVA Kodiak Pro 209 Magnum. It's not in the manual and when I call CVA they said send it in and they will take care of it. They will adjust to a minimum of 3 pounds. They also say 2 to 3 weeks. Frankly...I don't believe that and it is to close to season for any margin of error. QUESTION: Has anybody adjusted a trigger pull on a Kodiak themselves and could tell me how? http://www.cva.com/warranty/CVA%20OptimaKoiak%20Warr%20Book.pdf Check out page 20...figure 3...do you see the little screw above and behind the trigger? Would that be for disassembly or adjustment? You'd think if it was for adjustment, CVA would just tell me! So...that makes me inclined not to mess with it. AJ
Re: Adjusting Trigger Pull If you can't figure it out, you don't need to be tweaking with the trigger settings. Take it to a gunsmith or send it back to factory for adjustment. Individuals safety is not worth saving a few dollars.
Guest toothpick
Re: Adjusting Trigger Pull I wound not recommend taking the action apart either. I had CVA adjust an Optima Pro and they took it down to about 3 1/4 lbs about 2 years ago. Id let them do it rather than a gunsmight because it would be on their nickel. Good luck.
