Turkeygirl
Ok, so about an hour ago, I went outside carrying some paper trash to burn. My intent was to talk down the stone steps going down the hill beside our house. Well some of them were slippery. Next thing I know I fly up in the air, theb ags go out of my hand and I land on the ground with my left arm/elbow landing SMACK right on one of the rock steps! Oh my gosh, I haven't down anything like that in ages, it hurt like crazy. I got up and went into theh ouse and got some ice. It's not broken, praise the Lord, but it is going to bruise tomorrow and it aches a bit now. When it hit the rock, I was like oh my gosh, I hope I didn't just break my arm. There goes bow season. I'm lucky though I just really hit my arm good and didn't break anything or even hit my head on a rock. I basically hit my arm just below the elbow. Whew is all I can say....oh and ouch to,lol
SUGARKAHNE
Re: That hurt! That's too bad. I know how you feel-I haven't broken a dish in forever but last night I was washing a glass and it slipped out of my hands and shattered, cutting my hands and making me bleed all over the sink. Glad you didn't break anything though.

BowJoe
Re: That hurt! Next time try walking down the steps instead of "talking" down the steps. It may help. LOL Sorry but I couldn't resist. I hope you are alright. You might be a bowhunter if you fall and smash your elbow and your first thought is, "I hope my arms alright for bow season!" LOL

popgun
Re: That hurt! turkeygirl: I saw something at a military surplus store just last week that you need. It is a fully padded suit that they used for training the military attack dogs. The suit was complete with the gloves as well as a neck protector and booties for the lower ankles. All you would need to complete the outfit would be a very good helmet with face protection. This one was in a size XXL. The suit has a few tears that have been professionally repaired with Duck Tape. Although it has a quite potent and unquestionable doggie odor, I think you could eventually get the smell to blend with a few liberal doses of Doe-P, road-kill, and a floral perfume of your choice. This suit is a real bargain at $350. (used), because I’m sure the government paid thousands for it new. Let me know if you want me to pick it up for you the next time I am down that way. It weighs approximately 60 lb. but UPS will deliver. I know it sounds expensive, but it is probably still cheaper than your health insurance. Glad to hear you weren’t hurt too bad…. this time. ….popgun
