Re: antalope in wy

My advice is -----Don't shoot the 1st antelope you see. If your hunting private land----check it out. There are lots of prairie goats in WY. Check them out on your drive to the ranch you are hunting. You'll see antelope all along the interstate thru out WY, stop & glass them as often as you can. Then check out the ranch you'll be hunting---look over alot of goats befroe you pull the trigger. A good pair of bico's is really all you need----a spotting scope is nice but not necessary. After you seen a few, you will be able to tell a good one. Hunt them the right way----spot & stalk---use the terrain. Don't jump out of the truck & start blasting.

Hunting antelope is a ton of fun---have a ball.

You should beable to shoot out to 300 yards. CB

Re: antalope in wy

good binocs and a spotting scope are real good to have. prepare for 20 degree mornings, and 60 degree days. look for the bottom of the prong above the top of the ear. the ears are 7 1/4" in length, so look for double the ear length. most of all, look at him and say to yourself "do i want this animal on my wall?"
