wtnhunt
Got fertilizer out yesterday, and then got our last winter plot planted this morning. Should be done with food plots and plot maintenance now until spring. After planting got on the tractor and went to the bottom and was about done bush hogging when a really nice gentle soaking rain started falling. Here is a pic of the site, planted about a 1/4 acre here in the hamann farms winter blend along with just a little winter wheat mixed in. Will get some more pics when the green starts popping up. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks, I do kind of try to place our plots kind of strategically as best as I can. Now if I could just pick a tree for my climber where I can get close without bumping deer. Other than biologics full draw, I have never tried a winter brassicas mix before. Sure hope this stuff does what I am hoping for it too. The first plot I planted of this mix is really coming in nicely, hope the turkeys dont destroy it though, they have been in or around it everytime I get back there. This particular plot had a fall annual mix with clovers, rye, and oats from pennington in it last year, and saw some decent activity. Hope to see better activity with this mix.
