Gator
Any thoughts on it? My 14yr old stepson got drawn for a youth antlerless tag in Jan wher shots COULD reach 200yds. He has a H&R .243 youth model, but I don't know how the short barrel will effect bullet velocity. I have a Win Mod 70 in .270, and am thinking of getting him to shoot it. The .270 managed Recoil is 115gr bullets....
superguide
Re: Remington Managed Recoil Ammo Your .243 will do just fine for him at those ranges.

Jeramie
Re: Remington Managed Recoil Ammo Yep Jason, I agree. That .243 will reach the 200 yard mark easy. Dont count out the range/ accuracy of the NEF. Btw, ive heard nothing but good stuff on the Managed Recoil. Ive read about it in a few different magazine, had some word of mouth, and even ran across a few post on here. All have been positive. Its really suppose to make a difference. ousoonerfan22
Re: Remington Managed Recoil Ammo I would go with a 100 grain bullet on the 243,my son had good luck with the federal premium 100 gr(sierra gameking bullet?).
