LETMGROW
Re: Fertilizing brassicas? If it were only that simple. To properly fertilize any crop you must get a soil analysis to find the state of your soil. It must be analyized by a competent lab who will suggest the proper type and amount of fertilizer and lime requirements to apply. I would suggest you contact your local Cooperative Extension office or Farm Agency and follow their procedures. All soils are different and their needs vary. Applying the wrong fertilizer can be more harmful in some cases than using none. The above mentioned sources are inexpensive to use and can result in cost savings by doing the job right the first time.
