Hoyt03
Re: PA Achers? Went scouting tonight at my go to spot from last year that had been logged after rifle season. I wasnt expecting much but things are looking good there. Very overgrown and saw about 20 deer in a hour of scouting. 5 of those were fawns 1 decent buck. Best thing was they were all within 50 yards. This spot is looking like it will be producing again this year.

oldblue
Re: PA Achers? Dad and I got the new 2 man ladder tree stand up on Saturday. Saw lots of signs and lots of acorns around the tree stand. Really don't care if I get a shot or not, just looking forward to getting out with my Dad and enjoying the sights and sounds. Good luck to everyone and be sure. Andy
buckbuster11
Re: PA Achers? I'm not even close to ready. I've been trying to shootmy bow every night thats about it. I pretty much lost the land I have been hunting on my whole life not to long ago, so now I'm scrambling to find some new spots. I think I have a few lined up, but I've never really hunted the properties so a good part of the early season is probably going to be me doing a ton of scouting. Guest pabowhunt
Re: PA Achers? I'm about ready, just a few more odds and ends to get togather. Foodplots are in and growing nicely, they should peak out at pre-rut. I'm been setting out a trailcam all summer and just haven't found a buck I would like to shoot. Although I have seen a few nice ones with the spotlight. Just need to put in my time and do my best!

oldblue
Re: PA Achers? I'm ready and chafing at the bit. Next week can't get here fast enough. Dad and I have been to the farm several times the last couple of weeks and signs are there; even saw a rub last Sunday. Not real close to the tree stand but on the same property where the stand is set up. Good luck to everyone and will look forward to everyones reports. Buckslayer
Re: PA Achers? [ QUOTE ] You're just upset you didn't think of it first. [/ QUOTE ] Strut, John likes to put others down. You're best bet is just to forget him. If you throw stuff back, he'll never let up. And to answer the post , I am NOT ready, although I have been shooting for months. I still have yet to get all the rest of my gear out and ready. Last weekend I just finished trimming my last shooting lane!!! I got a week, I'll be ready, I'm as excited as possible, I must say! 007hunter
Re: PA Achers? Nope, heading out this weekend to hand stands. Unfortunately, I'll only be able to hunt them a half dozen times this year....
