Coy dog- coyote?

Re: Coy dog- coyote?

You should have a good chance at getting one. As long as you get into the blind as quietly as possible (Don't let them know you are there) they should come back as long as the food source is there.

Make sure you use a good cover scent. Good luck.

Re: Coy dog- coyote?

Not sure nevere tried that stuff before! I use scunk urine most of the time for me, but Any cover should work! Try to work it so the wind is blowing your scent away from were they will be, seeing you are not calling they should not try to get downwind of you!

I have heard alot written on coydogs also! But in the thousands and I mean thousands of coyotes I have seen in my life, I have never seen one before, I have seen wolves that are not supposed to be here but moved up after the bad fires in Montana a few years ago! There are alot of farms with dogs also here, and on the most part the dogs get killed by the yotes instead of bred! Different places are different i know but If you think it was a wolf it prob was! Plus our coyotes will be around 40 pounds and the size of a small shepard, to get to the size you are talking about it had to breed with a very big dog!! Not sure what to say but I do know that the wardens will not tell the compleat truth sometimes about mistakes they make LOL!! Good luck!!
