Already used the call on a doe and her two fawns and they freaked.
Guest LDB
Re: What calls you use? I put my fist up to my mouth and make a pig-snort through it. It's the only deer call I use, and it never freezes up. I can't take credit for it - Jim Shockey is the first person I saw using this method, but I don't know if he pioneered it. It works. I grunted a 110-120 class buck that had been about 400 yards away to within 30-40 yards of Saskbucks and I a couple of years ago when we were standing in the out in a stubblefield with no cover, and it was the middle of the rifle hunting season. When he circled downwind and got our scent, it was like he had been punched in the face. He ran at least a mile across the fields without looking back once. I called this guy out of the trees last year by grunting and rubbing a shed antler that I had found 15 minutes earlier on a fence post (you can see the fenceline in the background. Whatever works. SaskMan
Re: What calls you use? I own a true talker, that's it. Sometimes bang some real antlers together but I honestly don't call much.

Guest OhioHunt
Re: What calls you use? I do not call all that much unless it's pre rut or int he heat of the rut. I use the original can and I also use a 6 in 1. I was thinking about picking up a true talker. It seems like alot of people in here are using them. Are they really that good?
