dogdoc
Re: imperial no plow i've never planted it but several of the guys over at the QDMA site have with good results It is a mixture of cool season annuals so it should be planted very late summer to early fall. You should try to get at least 45 days of growth before the first freeze. It will stay green all winter long and should hold and attract deer. good luck todd

When is the right time to plant? Does it attract and hold deer? [/ QUOTE ] Very very easy to plant, but the deer here just wouldn't eat the stuff. I planted it in several locations with the same results. The deer prefer corn or something else I planted. The only real time the deer ate it was after the season was over. Jan & Feb in SC. LETMGROW
Re: imperial no plow We tore up a food plot we had bad results from about three weeks ago and planted Secret Spot from The Whitetail Institute. So far the plots look good. We are on the frost borderline up here and know we are taking a big chance, but if we get any results at all we are ahead of the game. We have strayed from the Institutes products a couple times but find ourselves going back. We'll let you know how the progress is.
