horst Posted December 4, 2004 Report Share Posted December 4, 2004 Did anyone else catch this on the news last night?They had 5 people discussing wheather the inmates in San Quentin should kill scott peterson after he arrives there.One of the main points was that all the inmates had TVs, watched the news coverage of the case and knew he was a baby killer. Honestly, I dont care what they do to him, he dug his own hole on this one.But what kinda responsible reporting is it to go on national television and pretty much say hes been found guilty, now its time for the inmates to do thier job and kill him Escpecially when theyre assuring the public that the inmates are sitting in thier cells watching tv while theyre discussing it?If they hadnt decided to kill him yet they probably have now.The publics expecting it from them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Why on God's great Earth would someone do something like that? From all of the pictures seen in the media - she was a beutiful woman - and you could tell by her face just how proud and excited she was to be pregnant! [/ QUOTE ] Yeah Todd, I didn't forget about Laci...I was just simply stating that killing the baby alone makes a horrific crime, not too mention Laci. I am also not suggesting that the prisoners should kill him, but that its Scott's problem and to be quite honest, if it happens I don't think to many people will lose much sleep over it. Who knows, I think it all depends on the sentence he gets, if he gets life, he'll be with the general population and anything can happen, if he gets death, then he'll be on death row separated from everyone else and basically spend 23 hours a day in his cell, the guards would have to let someone in to take care of him. Either way, his life is basically over, I have 2 takes on the death penalty, if he is remorseful, let him sit on it and be in agony for the rest of his life, if he isn't , by which all accounts he looked like he couldn't care less, give him the needle, no great loss. Interesting however that the courts that found him guilty of the murder of his unborn child, would have never batted an eye, had the baby been aborted by the mother....... How can that make sense? It seems the legal determination of an unborn child being alive or not is simply whether or not the mother intends to give birth to or abort the baby and the father has absolutely NO say in the matter whatsoever. As far as the question on whether or not the inmates should kill Scott Peterson--No. As PH said, it is the job of the state Perhaps he will eventually feel remorse, but I do not sense that at all in Scott Peterson. At least Dahmer was (sincerely by all accounts) remorseful. Not only that, but Dahmer was a sick man (I'm not saying he didn't deserve prison, don't get me wrong) and Peterson a shallow **** who killed his wife and baby just because he wanted freedom. Who will carry it out the state or the inmates? Frankly I don't care. If it's the inmates it will be much slower and painfull and probibly will save the state hudreds of thousands of dollars in housing and lawers fees. Is that such a bad thing?
