hutchies
Re: good bows for competitive archery Look for something longer ATA like 35 to 37 inches and a brace height of around 8 inches.
Tony
Re: good bows for competitive archery i have to agree with Hutchies. think longer and more stable. but never forget to buy a bow that feels good to you. i know a few guys that shoot short bows with big brace heights very well. Hoyts Models in the Protec, Ultratec, Ultraelite and Proelite are 4 of the top models for Indoor target and 3D.. the Mathews Apex 7 and Apex are there top bows for Indoor target or 3D. dg
Re: good bows for competitive archery Bowtech, Hoyt, and Mathews are good bows. But if you are serious about shooting them well, get someone who knows how to fit a bow to YOUR draw length (most important IMO) and poundage.
