Velcro vs. Buckle??

Ok, I know I want a TruBall Cyclone release and the one I tried had a velcro strap and felt great, but I've heard alot of other people use the buckle because it is quieter and more consistend? What are your opinions? I'm trying to decide whether to for the velcro wrist strap or get the buckle strap? My main concern is, is the buckle on a Truball as comfortable as the velcro one is and does the buckle go small enough if need be? The velcro is nice because it is very adjustable but of course the concern for being noisy and the velcro eventually wearing out. What do you think?

I have had Velcro make noise at the wrong time whether it be on a release or a jacket, coat, pants, etc.! I hate the stuff. mad.gif Worst thing to enter the hunting world, ever! Well, one of them anyway.

I agree. Those of you who have never had a problem with velcro, let me assure you. Hunt long enough with it, and you will.

Please note, buckles are also more repeatable. Strap the release on and use the same hole everytime. This helps your shooting be more consistent because your anchor is more consistent.
