mathews4life Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 This friday me and some buddies are leaving to go hunting in a reserve about 2 hrs from here. Our season doesn't open until Oct 1st but it opens sept. 15th just two hours away, so we are going to go up there and give it a shot. I didn't get a chance to go scountin last weekend but 4 of my buddies went and saw lots of signs and deer including two nice bucks. We got a lil cool front comin through friday and saturday so that'll help the conditions for sleepin in a tent(low 60's and high of 80's...still not to good). Got the tents, fans, and generators. Should be fun roughing it out there for a couple days.....i'm pumped up, cant hardly sleep. Man it felt good to see those deer coming through the woods and the ol' mathews let her have it.
