texastrophies
On my son's youth NEF .243 after taking a shot, when you break the gun open to eject the brass, it doesn't always eject. I have to take a cleaning rod through the end of the barrel to knock it out. Any thoughts on how to correct this?
johnf
Re: Single shot problem Mine did the same thing. I cleaned and dried it hoping that would fix it. It didn't. Then I took a 40 cal. Brass cleaning brush and polished the inside of the chamber with it for about 2-3 minutes, cleaned it and dried it again. That was about 3 years ago. It has been perfect sence I did that.

AJ
Re: Single shot problem Yep, this is a fairly common problem with the Handi Rifles. Usually its fixed by polishing the chamber.
texastrophies
Re: Single shot problem I think I figured out what the problem was, I bought some cheaper shells for him just to plink with, and out of the box, only 2 ejected by themselves. Then switched over to a box of Remingtons, and everyone of them came out on there own. I guess you get what you pay for.
