Yeah, I know there are already a ton and it takes half a day to navigate them as is but hear me oooooot. We are starting to do more and more as a group. We have the Okie shoot, there are also get togethers in NY, etc. Members are meeting other members and taking tons of pics…etc. I was wanting to go back and look through the Okie pics but didn’t really want to dig. The search feature is lacking to say the least and its hard to navigate all the post from the past 6-months. What do you think about a Realtree Events and or get together (in any form or fassion) forum where official post could be stickied for a certain period of time? You open the room and find Okie Get together 06 Ny Smackdown 06 Hey, I Met Tim! (pics) (Or Bill, Scott, Michael, etc) The Great Colorado Elk Hunt 06 (pics!) Etc….. That way they don’t die down and people lose the link. There are a lot of new Members on here and Ill bet a lot don’t know about the get togethers because they joined after it happened. They simply don’t know how to search for something they don’t know is there. I’m sure if a few stumbled onto the forum they would probably come next year. Also it would offer quick access because after the thread gets the initial attention it dies pretty quickly (say after the first 30-35 post). After one weekend its already buried under 3-4 pages of life pondering questions such as “Who else gets belly button lint and where does it come from? Does my belly button really have teeth?” It could possibly be expanded to Vacation pics and such for different occasions such as Jason’s deep sea fishing trip and Dakota’s elk hunt. Give it a month or two with a pushpin and cut it loose to be lost in the vast sea of post. We are talking an event forum with pics. This forum would be void of all the standard fluff and post.
