unioncountyslayer
Re: dog, the bounty hunter Leave it to Mexico to want to punish a man for capturing a rapist. Just plain ridiculous.

Newarcher
Re: dog, the bounty hunter There is a lot more to this story than is being told. The FBI was in negotiations with the Mexican authoriites to capture Luster when Dog swooped in to take him (film crew in tow). That peeved the FBI and the Mexican popo off. Well, he was arrested for it and made bail under an agreement to check in, etc. He hasn't done that. I certainly have a problem with the Mexican government telling our law enforcement what to do and the issues that come with that. Our laws are more and more being made based on external pressure from outside entities (UN, international law, Mexico). The US Supreme Court quoted INTERNATIONAL LAW in one of their decisions recently. However, he broke the Mexican law, skipped bail, and is now facing the consequences. In theory, he is no different than the thugs he catches on his show. I am sure they don't like the laws they broke than he does the Mexican law about bountyhunting. I think this is a little payback from the FBI and justice department. However, I don't think he should be extradicted but I am certain he probably will. The US no longer has the balls to stand up to other governments but will accept being hamstringed by them without protest. New

Guest Dust
Re: dog, the bounty hunter I have watched his show and found it to be entertainment at the most. Being ex-law enforcement I simply don't agree with most of his methods. I would love to see that wife of his slapped around by some meth chick. Now that would be entertainment. wtnhunt
Re: dog, the bounty hunter Heard a little about that on the news yesterday. He supposedly illegally busted Luster out of a mexican jail and brought him back to the states because mexican authorities were holding up extraditing luster back to the state. Now ironically Dog faces being extradited to mexico himself.

Go dawg! [/ QUOTE ] Yeah kind of my thoughts on this too. The mexican authorities were supposedly holding up sending luster back here. The bounty hunter did break the law to get him back here, but he got him back. To me it is pretty well wrong for our authorities to cooperate with the mexicans who would not cooperate with us in the first place . Seems if they had just cooperated in the first place none of this would have even happened.
