MCH
Another no-hitter through six. This time the rain didn't fall and he lost it with one out in the seventh. This ain't the same Maddux that was wearing a Cubs uni. He said himself. It's different when your pitching for a contender than just pitching for yourself. And that boy can pitch. No doubt, the smartest pitcher of our generation and maybe of all-time.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: Greg Maddux He did the exact same thing for Chicago if you rememeber when he came from the braves ... Im glad to see he is still a competitor ... and who can blame him for not wanting to pitch his heart out for a team who wont give him anything in return ... the Cubs need to spend some real money on players since they obviously dont spend it on there field ... slugshooter
Re: Greg Maddux Nobody can paint the corners like Maddux. Most guys throw the ball and hope it goes where they want. Maddux has the best ball control I have ever seen.

MCH
Re: Greg Maddux [ QUOTE ] UR welcome we traded him for a worthless shortstop [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, Izzy hasn't been playing too well for ya'll lately. I loved him when he was with us. He was the perfect 2 hole hitter. Good average, good speed and plus he won a Gold Glove with us. But now that I've got Furcal at short.......I don't miss Izzy that much.
