arrow32
Do you have underwear that are for hunting only and you put them on before you go or do you just wear the ones you get up in or put on a pair out of the pile? Think about it would it make that much of a difference? You have everything washed and ready to go but you dont wash your underwear.lol Would it make or break you or is it not that big of a deal? wtnhunt
Re: Your scent away clothing Not that big of a deal unless you are using a really fragrant fabric softener or detergent. Usually early on I do wash underwear, towels and wash cloths all with a scent free detergents like sports wash primarily during the archery season. But then sometimes I will just pull something out of the bottom of the drawer.

Bowhntr
Re: Your scent away clothing I use the x-scent long underwear in colder weather. Anything that I wear hunting is treated as hunting clothes and precautions are taken
hunterfisherman
Re: Your scent away clothing I'm the same. I wash a couple of towels and anything I'm going to wear, in scent free soap. Don't want to take any chances
BrotherBadger
Re: Your scent away clothing Underwear and the like do not concern me. However, i might give it a try this year and see if there is a difference.
Tom2008
Re: Your scent away clothing I wash all my hunting clothes with a couple pairs of socks. I just spray some scent free stuff on my underwear the night before and hang them outside with the rest of the clothes.

RUTNSTRUT
Re: Your scent away clothing I have a whole supply of underwear, socks, towels and everything I come in contact with that has been washed in scent free soap. It is then kept in air tight totes untill use.
Outdoor_Guy
Re: Your scent away clothing I keep all hunting clothing and towels for the morning shower scent free and in a scent free bag. Any residual scent can defeat the purpose of scentfree clothing. Under wear is not that big of a concern unless using a scented detergent or softener. I use a laundry detergent that if free from perfumes for all the laundry.

johnf
Re: Your scent away clothing [ QUOTE ] Never thought about it..guess if they were scent free..they wouldnt be for long!!LOL [/ QUOTE ] That's just wrong. My wife and I are both alergic to most perfumes in laudry detergent so we buy the ones with no dies or perfumes. I spray down with cover scent and wash my other hunting cloathes and socks in sport wash. I think that's enough.

Guest ILclimber
Re: Your scent away clothing I usually try and wash my long underwear once every two weeks. I put those on before I leave, but I leave the scentlok suit in the bag until I get to where I'm going. It gets pretty cold here in IL, so I gotta have some heat driving out to my spot! lol

SaskMan
Re: Your scent away clothing If you're worrying about underwear you're overdoing it. I personally think the scent free craze has gotten a bit out of hand. I haven't jumped on board.
