This may belong in the Photo Room but its bowhunting related.

I found a spot years ago where 2 trails meet right at the edge of a field end. Just so happens there is a apple tree dropping right on those trails ends. The main trail goes between 2 apple tress; this one, and another, and has been there for years. It actually evolved into an atv/walking access trail up into the woods due to the path of least resistance, but the deer still pound it.

I set a stand up down wind 11 yards from the closest apple tree and 5 yards off the field end to give it a try. The maple trees are finally big enough. LOL

(Been wanting to hunt this spot for a while... 6 years)

Went ahead and put a new Moultrie 2.1 digital on the apple tree facing the trail ends.

Got 113 deer pics in 3 days!

Mostly doe and small spikes but a few 3 and 4 pointers too.

Nothing trophy sized but I dont care. I plan to take a doe with my bow anyways.

I just did not expect that much traffic threw this area. LOL

Yes there were some pics that deer were there for 3 or 4 pics in a row but I was seeing the same small spikes and does over and over at different times of the day and night.

After hanging the stand and looking around more I found 3 other trails that empty onto the end of this field. 25 to 35 yards away from my stand.

Looks like a deer super highway has been found. LOL

I had plans to hunt a long time favorite stand not 50 yards away from this and about 50 yards up into the woods. It stands on 2 other trails and the main trail that I am on now.

I got 1 pic there when facing the other 2 trails.

I think I am gonna hunt the apple tree on opening day. LOL
