Swamphunter
Re: Interested in seing your Switchback XT set up. How do you like your shurz-a-peep? I have heard that some of the strands cross in front of your eye and can be distracting? What is distracting to me and the dang peep sight not swinging completely into view when you need it to most. [/ QUOTE ] I have heard of this too and even had it happen once when I was shooting out to 60 yards. The sun was bright on it too so it made it stand out but I still shot a decent group. I would rather have that minor distraction then it not turn all the way or the tubing. JMO.

[/ QUOTE ] If your were ever interested in a Mathews bow DO NOT shoot this bow. It will sell itself in one shot. JMO BTW I planned to make a fletching bag cover like that out of a old scent lok vail I have. The top is elastic with a draw cord and the bottom just needs to be sewn shut. Should work. I am using a Cat Quiver I so I dont need it now. Just an idea...

This way you don't have to remove the entire cover to access an arrow if you need it.

Nick
Re: Interested in seing your Switchback XT set up. Just curious why you need the bag over the fletchings if your deer hunting? Good idea for turkey hunting....but deer are color blind. It just seems like a pain in the butt to get another arrow out if you need/get a 2nd shot. [/ QUOTE ] Nick- Even though they are color blind, most fletching will appear a light color; grey or close, and the vanes moving around when you move your bow are like a flag. John- Great tip on that fletching bag. I did not consider that. I do not plan to do this since I now use a Cat Quiver but its a good idea for someone else who may be thinking of it. I do it mostly to keep it hidden from other hunters seeing it. Flo. Orange stands out like a sore thumb in the woods. I hunt mostly public land and don't care to give away my spots. I'm not worried about the deer.
