Re: dakota shot a....

Hey everyone! I'm at Steve's house right now. We're going to do some filming here soon so I'll only be on for a short time. Shot a real nice 6 pt. that will go 300 B&C last night at 279 yrds. Sure there were a lot bigger bulls, but I saw this one and what he may lack in tine length he makes up for in mass. His brows are long and the bases thick, when I saw him he looked gigantic and I knew he was the one. Three nights ago we saw him and tried to put a stalk on him, but he went back up into the timber leaving two raghorns out in the sagebrush. I sure brought him low last night, though. I'll post pics soon.

This is Dakota's Dad. Was truly a great moment to see Dakota get his elk! Everything happened so fast

when they spotted the bull! Prayed like crazy up to the time they saw him and got Dakota into position. It truly was a hunt of a lifetime! Thanks again for your support and prayers for Dakota leading up to and during this special hunt! Special thanks to Steve Beilgard for his expertise, guidance, and encouragement. You're the best Steve!
