bfletch7441
Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp The ODWC has a really good digital atlas of the WMA's but it seems to be having problems right now. If nothing else, when you show up I, and I'm sure many more of us, will have maps of the place. I look forward to putting a few faces with names. 3whunt
Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp Guys I need some details on this Bow Camp. What to bring, who can come, where we stay, and anything else that is applicable. It would be nice to meet some more hunters.
MCH
Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp What to bring: everything you need to bowhunt and any special food/drink you may want; there's a town within 10 minutes who can come: Anyone where we stay: Bring a tent or hope someone else has room. And anything else that is applicable: Roadkill10 snores, bring earplugs and in case Hutchies shows up, bring cheese and mouse traps.
bfletch7441
Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp Details, details, details. Why does it always have to be about the details? While this will be my first time with these jokers, I have been to James Collins several times, so I know what to expect. It's primitive camping so bring your camping gear, there are no showers, it does have a toilet (it was pretty rank the one time I used it though), and there is a water spigot we can use. McAlester is 30 miles away if you want a hotel or a restaurant, but why would you? If any of us are worth our salt as a hunter we'll be having backstrap by Friday night. Anyone and everyone is invited, unless you're nuts ... well wait a minute, that would rule most of us out so scratch that, ... anyone and everyone is invited. By the way, don't forget your hunting gear too, that's kind of important. If you don't know where it is, we can help you find the place. If you, or anyone else for that matter, is close to Tulsa, let me know and we can share a ride. Ben
