Re: Question for the fellas

Not in years. Ive shaved for a couple of different reasons. Sports and injuries yes.

When I was younger, roughly 23, I did compete one contest (bodybuilding). I was down to almost single digit body fat. I was pretty cut. You cant compete in any bodybuilding contest with hair so I too turned to the old mach 3. That combined with tanning shows definition very well. The sad part is with high testosterone levels comes high amounts of body hair, typically. It looked like a cat exploded.. grin.gif

Honestly I havent done it again since. Life got in the way and everything about my physique changed. I still pack a little arm but I pack a nice spare tire too. Shaving anything at this point would be just too weird.... grin.gif

A lot of people around here shave. Its still remotely the age of the Metro-sexual. I know a lot of guys that shave their arms/ legs on a regular basis. Personally I couldn't afford the razors.... grin.gif

I'll admit, I shave my back right before going to the beach. Actually my wife shaves my back. LOL If not I'd look like a Chea Pet. Now that you have that image in your head, have a good day. LOL

grin.gif Its not to becoming is it. Look at waxing. It hurts like the dickens but stays off for weeks. Its very effective and after some time it kills the hair follicles and the hair quits growing. I just started.

Kind of funny though. After its done it looks like someone cut a landing strip in the jungle.... grin.gif

Ok guys, was just wondering if any of you shaved your body. I competed in a few bodybuilding competitions a couple years back and had to shave everything. Kind of became a habit and still to this day shave my arms, chest and stomach. It shows the definition of your muscles better. Just curious if anyone else does this.

Competed a couple of years back?

Thanks to FINN posting your photo on another thread we can now see the unioncountyslayer in his muscular glory. grin.gif

Since you do not have the physique of what is normally expected of a "body builder", and don't seem to have much muscle definition to show, maybe you should consider growing the hair back.

Maybe the extra hair will make it look as though you have some bulk.

Michael Waddell has about the same physique as you, and I have never heard anyone mention that he is a body builder.

All in fun. grin.gif

Personally, I have the physique of Homer Simpson and have worked my entire life attaining it.

Well popgun, I competed in "natural" bodybuilding competitions. Which means your body is free from any foreign substances i.e. steroids, supplements, etc. I still carry less than 6% body fat and work out daily to stay cut. I'm not trying to be a prick here, but since you brought it up, I doubt ol' Waddel could hang with me in the gym, or you for that matter. If you'd like some pics I'd be glad to PM you.

All in Fun right. grin.gif
