My 5 year old daughter, Nicole, went with me for a walk Sunday to check on the cows and calves. Took the camera with me, and snapped this pic. Thought it was worth sharing. We had one at grandma's that is now two weeks old, but we had to bottle feed her until she was a week old and then got mama to take care of her. At last count grandma has somewhere between 6 to 12 new calves and lost one. Fun time of year and it still isn't over yet, we are still waiting on several to have their calves. The kids really love being outside and around the animals, smiles like this put a smile on my face too. Dont think I could ever give up living in the country.
