Re: Single..and loving it.....

I have been married 22 years and I could never replace my wife. Noone would ever put up with me. If something ever happened to us I would never get married or in a serious relationship again. I enjoy being outdoors in the woods or whereever by myself and could never "train" anyone like that again. LOL. I would still spend time with family and friends but would never answer to anyone again.

Re: Single..and loving it.....

Here's my situation....I started balding as soon as i finished basic trainning 6 years ago, i was 18, i am built like a stump, short and stout. i have no outstanding features, except for my arms and legs are pretty big, i am not overly smart not overly dumb......I am just average in everything. I dont stick out so noone notices me, lol I just plod along unnoticed. Single isn't a word to me, its a way of life. All my friends are married and have kids, All the people i go to college with are 5 years younger than i am and i cannot relate with them on anything. I am in a heck of a situation. lol Gives me alot more time to hunt and fish.

I am 36 and single. Never been married or close. If it happens it happens. Women at school ask me When are you going to get married. I ask them what can you do when your married that you cant do when you dating someone or living with them. They dont ask again after that. I have nothing against marriage. I think it is great if you find someone to spend the rest of your life with. If I found the right one and we both new it was the right thing to do I would be all for it.

That's because your UGLYand EXTREMELY BITTER.

Re: Single..and loving it.....

I agree with ya huntingbabe! Haven't had a boyfriend ever, not planning to anytime soon. At the college I just graduated from, girls out number guys but it seems that every guy has a girlfriend at least. Therei s more to life, in my opinion, than trying to find a boyfriend/girlfriend first thing. I came up with a saying: "No guys = no problems". No offense to any of the guys here, but when all I hear about is who dumped who or a guy abusing someone or affairs and stuff like that, it sounds so stupid to me.....some like being single, some don't, it's all good:)

Re: Single..and loving it.....

For you guys complaining about being in college and not being able to meet anybody. Think about this situation. I graduated in 2004 and was undecided on what to do. I got a really good job opportunity so I went for it. I started the job the beginning of August that summer after my graduation. Everything went awesome...always had a pocket full of cash along with money flowing into the bank, had good benefits... I went out and bought a brand new snowmobile then bought a new truck and pimped it all out and recently bought a new quad and had the cash to buy a gun or bow whenever I wanted. Well, while I stayed living at home and working 2nd shift 3pm-11pm everyday....all the kids my age moved off to college. So here I am stuck back at home with all my toys and nobody to date or even anybody to hang out with. I go to work and am around a bunch of guys and a few women who are all in their 30's and older while im just the 20 year old punk. Then when nobodys in school and having a good time on the weekends....im usually forced to work. There are a few people around town my age....but then again, when im leaving for work at 2pm, everybody else is just getting out of work...and by the time I get home at 11:30, everybody is in bed. Yeah, I got some pretty sweet toys...but i dont have a partner or many opportunities to date or have fun and be with people my age. To be honest.....it sucks!!!

Re: Single..and loving it.....

Yeah but just think Nick, with a woman by your side you'd not have all of those things you just listed. Kiss the truck, snow mobile, money in the bank, quad, pocket full of cash or an opinion of your own goodbye. Trust me it ain't worth it to get married unless you wanna have kids. Some of the happiest people I've seen have never been married but stayed together for 30 yrs. Just a matter of opinion.
