Strut10
What a difference a properly-fitting gun can make in a feller's trap scores. Last nite I think I found the "sweet spot" on my new O/U. I only shot half a round. But I was on a 94 pace. I was pretty happy with that for my second outing with it. It's quite an improvement from my 78's and 80's with my 20 ga. S/S. I'm definitely liking the new gun!
Guest Xen
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! sorry to hear you're wasting that new gun on trap... you should honor the gun and shoot some skeet with it, it deserves better

Tominator
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! Good deal Don. I haven't shot skeet, trap or clays in a long time, but I could almost guarantee you since I've had that Benelli, I hit a lot more of what I'm aiming at. Strut10
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! So I've heard. I'm anxious to have a go at S.C. There's only one course anywhere near me and it's almost an hour away. I'll get there one day.
Guest Xen
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! yeah, skeet never has seemed that popular, dunno why - it's every bit as fun as trap, imo. sporting clays is a lot of fun tho - it can also be very, very humbling
Guest aitchie666
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! No skeet aint the popular as the other disaplins. There are 4 trap facilities within 25 minutes of my home and I live in a rural area.
Guest aitchie666
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! its just another version of sporting accept you have to keep the gun at waist height and only bring it up in to your shoulder when you see the target, that sort of thing. Check the fitasc site for more details web page
Strut10
Re: My, Oh MY!!!! So FITASC is basically french sporting clays shot from a stationary position. Don't know as I've ever heard of it being shot in these parts. Sounds like it would be big fun to try. But seeing as where its origin lies (france )................ I believe I'll pass.
