persuasive speech topic...need help

I'm giving a short speech on a persuasive topic tonight (as usual, just started working on it now grin.gif) anyway, I'm going to talk about the benefits of controlled urban deer kills to reduce overpopluated herds in areas that don't have enough land to support such a large number of deer.

I got all my info, but I want to think of possible questions all the animal rights nuts in the crowd might ask me. That way I can be prepared and shred them in a debate.

So, what should I expect?

[ QUOTE ]

"What if you shoot one of my kids playing in the yard?"

[/ QUOTE ]

Possible answer: "Why don't I hit your kids in the yard with my car. Because everything is about control of yourself and using common sense. More people are killed in car wrecks every day than are killed by hunters in a decade."

What makes you think urban hunting is safe for inocent bystanders/kids/old people/etc?

What happens to the deer after they're so brutally murdered?

We have too many people, should we have a controlled hunt for them too?

Do you think deer have souls? Will they go to Heaven after you murder them?

Why do you WANT to kill deer at all? Why not just leave them alone as Mother Nature intended?

Will you be killing the cute little baby deer too?

I don't want MY kids to ever see a dead deer. How can you guarantee they won't be exposed to that sight?

What will I tell my kids when they ask me why someone is killing all of the deer?

How will you know when you've killed enough deer? What if you kill too many or not enough?

Will this hunt happen every year, or is it a one time thing?

Yeah I know these sound stupid to us, but I think it's representative of what you may encounter if there ARE animal rights wackos present. In other words, be ready for the irrational, emotion driven questions.
