Was wondering if anyone uses one on this forum . What kind of accuracy and range are you getting . I can shoot up to 150 yards would this gun be sufficient.. I think that they are a super deal for the money and yes very accurate. I own a Mossberg 500 in 20 gage for my sons and have to admit that if I hunt deer with a slug gun I use theirs instead of my 12 . It's kind of like a brush gun for adults. It is a bantam size so it's short and it is super accurate and super light. What more could I ask for? Besides their permission to use it of course . hunter109 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 Re: 20 ga. h&r ultra i dont have the 20ga. model but i have the 12 heavy berraled one and i shoot my first deer with that gun last year and it was out to 80yards and i could shoot maybe shoot 120 yards at the most i can shoot farther than that but i ant going to try it inless it is a realy realy realy big buck out that fair. i have had my ualtra sluger for one year and i like it but it is a heavy gun. If we had a shotgun season around here I would snatch one up in a second. We only have Bow, ML, and Rifle. Ill carry a regular rifle out before I take a slug....
