Guest HoytHunter2020
I went to set up my stand, and i found a nice clearing in the woods with Five rubs, and two scrapes. There are a thousand acorns all ove the area, does it sound like i set up in the right spot or will the deer not be around that area much??? hunterfisherman
Re: Acorns???? I don't know. Sounds fuzzy to me. Just kidding. That's an all day stand site. Bring a lunch and stay all day. You'll spend your evening dragging out a deer

KyBucks
Re: Acorns???? Sounds like the place to be. I've got a stand in a spot that sounds similar to that, I was in there late Sunday evening and the acorns were falling like rain........plenty of sign but no deer......... But I bet there will be!!! magnatecsteve
Re: Acorns???? Great spot while it lasts. If it goes dead, look for the next food source that the deer have moved on to. Deer have to eat every day no matter what, so if it goes dead, just look for more food. Best of luck!
