huntrman
I was just curious if anyone had the suit. It's similar to the "Dream Season" suit, just that Waddel designed it. They are a little on the pricey side, but I am curious about it. If anyone has the suit or just the coat or just the pants and can give me a little info on how it feels, how warm it is, better for early or late season or both, etc etc. You get the picture. In case anyone doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about I'll provide some links. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.T...arTarget=browse http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.T...cmCat=CROSSSELL
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips not that suit, I have a ScentBlocker suit and I am impressed with the quality of it. Don't think you could go wrong with buying one. Good luck on whatever you decide to get.
wtnhunt
Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips If you can afford it and think it will increase your odds, go ahead. Me personally I am a bit skeptical as to how effective the scent containing suits really work. The guy who comes in here from time to time who claims to be an engineer or tech for scent loc says repeatedly that you must use the full suit including a headcover of some sort for the suits to be to their full effectiveness. The claims from what I have read and understand are that more scent is lost around your head then your body. Very rarely ever see Waddell on his show wearing any scent containing headcovering. If it is so critical and a must for these suits to be used to their full potential just seems to mer Waddell and some of these other hunting show hosts would be seen using the headcovers more frequently than they do. buffett1
Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips I believe that there are 2 roadtrip suits. 1 of them is fleece and the other is not. The fleece one is said to block the wind. Neither have hoods like the dream season suit does. I believe they are more for early season since they aren't all that bulky and lined. [/ QUOTE ] Can't argue with that William, I could but don"t have much of a counter arguement! You are very correct on that. I have seen numerous shows with guys wearing no headcover, just a hat, or a face mask and not Scent- Loc or ScentBlocker headcover. Good point William!! bigmoss
Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips I am a Scent Blocker fan over the competition, I am also friends with the owner of Scent Blocker. I have both suits the Dream Season and the new Road Trips. The RT one is a little lighter weight suit and yes has no hood. It has a few less pockets which I like as it cuts down on the bulkyness of it. And of course the Road Trips one is on Realtree Camo versus the "you know who ! " Both are nice but I would say you would hunt later into the season with the DS one as the fabric is heavier, both are designed though for early to mid season hunts. Bownarow
Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips I just bought the jacket this year and can't wait to trial it in the field. It looks great and we'll see if it works great.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Scentblocker Roadtrips I have heard that Scent Blocker uses technology that ScentLoc created, not sure but I think I have heard this before and could understand it. If Scent Loc patented it first they own the rights to it.. Both are great companies!

The differences are minor. Those two suits (Dream Season and Roadtrips) are real quality suits. I like a lot of the features my self.
